Russia’s Rosatom to Control 67% of Global Nuclear Power Plants

In recent years Russia’s state-owned Rosatom has completed the construction of 6 nuclear power reactors in India, Iran and China and it has another 9 reactors under construction in Turkey, Belarus, India, Bangladesh and China.

The Russian firm has an order book worth $134bn and contracts to build 22 nuclear reactors in 9 countries over the next decade, including Belarus, Bangladesh, China, India, Turkey, Finland, Hungary, Egypt and Iran.

The company operates 35 nuclear power stations in Russia that produce 28GW (28,000 MW) of power, and it is actively exporting its nuclear technology to countries around the world. ... ng-160796/
